Eaton's Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer—Power Electronics to drive the design and development of high‑power three‑phase UPS and energy storage systems.

You will own tasks from concept through production, work with cross‑functional teams, validate designs, specify components, create schematics, BOMs, and documentation, and support DVT and field readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in electrical product development or Master’s with 1+ year in power electronics design.
• Hands-on electrical design, lab testing, and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Launch critical power infrastructure products meeting customer and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design three-phase UPS from 20 kW to 2.5 MW and energy storage systems.
• Specify components, create circuit diagrams, BOMs, and technical documentation.
