Job summary

Infinite Electronics seeks a senior electrical engineering leader to drive the design and qualification of power conversion electronics for Battery Back Up (BBU) and UPS systems. You will own BMS hardware development, bidirectional DC-DC conversion, charging/discharging circuits, and protection architectures, guiding cross-functional teams through production release and certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
8+ years of power electronics hardware design experience in battery backup/UPS/energy storage.
Experience with bidirectional DC-DC converters and battery charging/discharging circuitry.
Proficiency with CAN/CAN-FD, I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485, Modbus in power systems.
Schematic capture and PCB layout in Altium/OrCAD/KiCad; circuit simulation (SPICE/PLECS).

Responsibilities

Lead design authority for power conversion electronics from architecture to production release.
Design and analyze bidirectional DC-DC converters and associated topologies.
Develop Li-ion/LiFePO4/lead-acid charging/discharging circuitry and BMS hardware.
Define protection architecture and fault-detection strategies.
Collaborate with firmware on control algorithms and telemetry.
Support safety/regulatory qualification (UL/IEC/UN 38.3).
Mentor junior engineers and engage with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
