Job summary

Apptronik is seeking an experienced senior electrical engineer to lead electronics developments for Apollo humanoid robot power electronics and distribution. This role owns PCBA designs and battery interfaces, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

The candidate should have 5+ years in Electrical Engineering with a strong background in power electronics, batteries, chargers, and CAD/PLM tools, and a hands-on approach to prototyping and testing

Qualifications

5+ years in Electrical Engineering?
Experience with power electronics and battery systems required.
Familiarity with PCB/PCBA design and manufacturing release processes.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Design, simulate, test multi-layer PCBAs and battery interfaces.
Drive battery strategy with internal teams, vendors, and CM/leadership.
Develop and execute validation plans (DVT/PVT) and test fixtures.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Manage component lifecycle and vendor relationships for scale-up.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
