Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing R&D team focused on advanced power‑electronics. This role emphasizes hands‑on lab work, solving complex technical challenges, and mentoring junior engineers while influencing architecture, design direction, and engineering processes.

In this position you will design and develop power circuits, lead prototype build and validation, and collaborate with manufacturing on DFM/DFT and production ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical or power‑electronics design.
• Strong background in AC/DC and/or DC/DC power conversion.
• Experience designing robust, reliable circuits.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Hands‑on lab experience debugging and validating power circuits.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power‑electronic circuits and systems (AC/DC, DC/DC, protection circuitry, control electronics).
• Perform schematic design, component selection, simulation, and support PCB layout.
• Lead prototype build, bring‑up, debugging, and validation testing.
• Create and execute electrical test plans for performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on DFM, DFT, and production ramp.
• Participate in design reviews and technical decision‑making.
• Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical failures.
