Job summary
Advanced Energy seeks an Electronic Engineer to design, develop, test, and support advanced power supply systems across the product lifecycle. The role may be filled at Engineer II or Senior level based on experience and leadership ability.
The engineer will design and validate power supplies, perform lab testing, and collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets. Onsite in Minnesota.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Advanced degree is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate power supply systems and circuits.
- Perform schematic capture, board layout support, prototype development, and testing.
- Analyze lab data and validate performance against specs.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across development, manufacturing, and field.
- Develop models and tools to improve design robustness.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, QA, and field teams.
- Support lab operations, setup, automation, and safety compliance.
- Create scripts/tools to automate testing and data acquisition.
- Document designs and changes clearly.
