Responsibilities

What you'll do...
Design and develop high voltage power conversion and battery management electronics for electric vehicle applications.
Perform complex circuit design analysis, magnetics design analysis, thermal analysis, and control analysis.
Design and select power, analog, digital electronics components, and magnetic components.
Hands-on develop circuit schematics and PCB layout.
Perform design failure analysis and support functional safety activities.
Hands-on hardware bring-up, characterization, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
Support definition of design validation tests and end-of-line tests specifications.
Collaborate with mechanical design, software, system, project management, supply chain functions throughout the organization.

Qualifications

You'll have...
5+ years of experience in power electronics product development
In-depth knowledge of power electronics fundamentals and high voltage power converter design
Hands-on skills of schematic capture and circuit simulation & analysis tools.
Hands-on skills of component placement and PCB layout for better signal integrity and manufacturability
Experience with magnetics and filter design.
BS, MS, or PhD in EE.
Even better, you may have...
Experience high-frequency electromagnetic FEA simulation
Experience with safety-critical automotive hardware development
Familiar with industry standards and regulatory requirements for power electronics products.
