TDK-Lambda Americas Inc. is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer in the United States to drive high-power converter development and product validation.

You will evaluate circuit topologies, perform simulations, conduct functional, safety and reliability testing, and mentor lab staff. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of hands-on power electronics experience, including magnetics, control loops, PCB design, EMC issues, and familiarity with LTspice/OrCAD MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in power electronics or related field.
• Hands-on design, debugging and testing of power converters.
• Familiar with safety standards for power supplies.
• High power converter development experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate power circuit topologies for cost/performance in new products.
• Perform circuit simulation, analysis and testing to verify designs.
• Validate designs via functional, safety and reliability tests.
• Create test plans and document results; drive change orders.
• Mentor lab technicians and junior engineers.
• Support field customers for application issues.
• Design to meet cost, safety and reliability constraints.
