TDK-Lambda Americas Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented PCB Designer to support the Electrical Engineering team in developing high-voltage programmable DC power supplies and capacitor chargers.

You will translate concepts into reliable, manufacturable PCB designs and mechanical assemblies, build prototypes, and support production in building those PCB assemblies. This hands-on role emphasizes layout quality impacting safety, performance, and reliability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or technical school.
• 3–6 years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Proficiency with MS Office and PCB design tools (PADS, SolidWorks, Mentor).

Responsabilidades

• Draw detailed electrical schematics and layout using PADS.
• Collaborate with PCB manufacturing to improve PCB design.
• Follow company design guidelines for PCB and mechanical design.
• Assist engineers in lab prototype testing, including through-hole and SMT soldering.
• Consider thermal effects and regulatory compliance in design activities.
