Qualifications

• 8–12 years of hands-on power electronics hardware design.
• Experience with high-voltage isolation and harsh environments.
• Ability to take a board from schematic to production release.

Responsibilities

• Design isolated power conversion systems (flyback, SEPIC, forward, resonant).
• Lead magnetic design: transformers, inductors, leakage control, thermal.
• Investigate unconventional power sources and HazLoc paths.
• Design analog front-ends and current/voltage sensing networks.
• Own PCB design end-to-end in Altium with HV considerations.
• Bring-up from first power-on to full verification; debug issues.
• Collaborate on certifications (CSA, UL, ATEX) and testing.
• Deliver complete design packages for contract manufacturers.
• Coordinate hardware/software interfaces with embedded engineers.
• Mentor teammates and raise team capability in power electronics.
