Job summary

Draper seeks a senior electronics engineer to design, develop, and verify high-reliability digital electronics for avionics. As a principal member of the Harsh Environments Electronics Group, you will shape hardware architectures and lead electronics development with sound engineering and project management.

You will translate requirements into hardware definitions, design instruments, build prototypes, test, document for manufacturing, and engage with partners to create cost-effective,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
7–10 years of experience in electronic or electrical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Translate project requirements into hardware architectures with cross-functional teams.
Design and/or complete instruments including microprocessors, power, and analog components.
Build and test prototypes, debug, and prepare manufacturing documentation.
Engage engineers and partners to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions.
Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies.
