Zusammenfassung

Archer is seeking a senior electrical engineer to design and own high voltage, high power density motor controllers for its all‑electric eVTOL aircraft. You will develop power electronics from concept through production, including MOSFET gate drives, power supplies, and sensor interfaces.

The role requires 8+ years in electrical systems, experience with inverter tech, wide bandgap devices, and complex PCB layouts. Base pay reflects California market conditions.

Qualifikationen

Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
8+ years of relevant electrical system and circuit board design experience.
Experience with high voltage power electronics for aircraft/EV applications.
Inverter technology for variable speed motor drive and gate driver PWM.
Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation software.
PCB layout experience is strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

Design and develop high voltage, high power density motor controller for eVTOL applications.
Own hardware from specification to production including prototype and reliability validation.
Design MOSFET gate drive circuits, power supplies and sensing circuits.
Create schematic, layout and PCB assembly design reviews.
Prototype verification tests and data analysis to meet specs.
Troubleshoot issues on prototype line.
