Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead applied research, design, development, test, prototyping and documentation on key projects. You will use research methods to validate concepts and will interact with senior professionals both internal and external to AE.

You will work on power conversion platforms, collaborate with design teams, perform simulations, breadboarding, and provide designs that balance performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience in switch-mode power supply design and related topologies.

Responsibilities

• Design according to power conversion platform requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive performance improvements.
• Create design calculations and simulations; perform testing and characterization.
• Develop documentation on new technology blocks and operation theory.
