Job summary

Advanced Energy is a global leader in engineering and manufacturing of high-precision power conversion, measurement, and control solutions. This Electronic Engineer II role concentrates on design, development, and validation of switch-mode power supplies and related systems across multiple development programs.

You will own substantial portions of designs, drive performance, reliability, and manufacturability while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of power electronics, analog and digital circuit design, and control systems.
• Ability to independently design, analyze, prototype, simulate, test, and validate electronic circuits and subsystems.
• Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, and electronic loads.
• Experience with circuit simulation and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key contributor on product development teams for advanced power conversion products.
• Design, develop, test, and debug power supply subsystems (AC/DC converters, PFC, control systems).
• Own significant portions of product designs and lead technical aspects of projects.
• Develop and execute validation plans, analyze test results for design compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the product lifecycle.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and support customer technical discussions.
