Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
• Experience with power-electronics design across AC/DC and DC/DC converters.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Translate system and customer requirements into robust power architectures and specs.
• Design, simulate, analyze, and verify isolated and non-isolated AC/DC and DC/DC converters, battery chargers, and power-management/distribution circuits.
• Perform detailed power analyses including regulation, ripple, efficiency, thermal performance, magnetics, and EMI/EMC margins.
• Lead hands-on hardware integration, debugging, and verification using lab instruments.
• Partner with manufacturing and suppliers to improve producibility and manage obsolescence and long‑lead risks.
• Support technical proposals, trade studies, cost/schedule assessments, and new‑business concepts.
• Coach junior engineers and communicate technical recommendations to leadership and review boards.
