Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Electrical Engineering to drive design and development of advanced electrical sub‑systems for next‑generation Navy shipbuilding programs. You will work across the lifecycle from concept to production, ensuring reliability and performance of power and control technologies.

The role requires hands‑on engineering, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of related experience; or 8+ years without a degree.
• Experience designing analog, digital, and power electronics circuitry.
• Experience with hardware development across full lifecycle including testing and production.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and electronic sub‑systems for power and control equipment.
• Lead/assist integration, testing, packaging, and configuration of sub‑systems.
• Develop hardware documentation and present test results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with PCB designers for layout and production support.
• Interface with customers to support operation and troubleshooting.
