Job summary

L3Harris in Palm Bay, Florida is seeking a Lead, Electrical Engineer to develop power supply circuits for data acquisition and computing systems. You will drive specifications, component selection, topology design, simulation, and testing, with emphasis on high-current/high-voltage environments.

The role requires coordinating with manufacturing and quality teams, supporting production releases, and contributing to safety and EMI/EMC compliance. A US government security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of experience (or 7 with a graduate degree) or 13 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with power conversion topologies including AC/DC and DC/DC.
• Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop isolated/non-isolated power conversion topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC).
• Simulate and analyze power circuits for efficiency, EMI/EMC, and transient response.
• Create schematics, support PCB layout, and lead tests for prototype bring-up and qualification.
• Prepare design documentation and lead design reviews.
