Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL seeks an Electrical Engineer to perform electronics design across digital, power, analog, and mixed-signal domains within an IPT. You will collaborate with Systems, Mechanical, Software, and Firmware teams to meet cost and schedule milestones and support customer reviews.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or a graduate degree with 4+ years, and an active TS/SCI clearance. On-site work and a 9/80 schedule apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience is required.
• Active TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Perform CCA design, specifying mixed-signal technology circuits such as A/D, D/A, processors, I/O communications, and programmable logic (FPGA, CPLD).
• Utilize the digital CCA design process including requirements generation, preliminary design, peer reviews, detailed design, test plan generation, and integration/testing.
• Design circuits with components like Xilinx FPGAs, TI DSP processors, Freescale/Intel processors, MCUs, CPLDs, and memory (DDRx, SRAM, ROM, Flash).
• Work with board technologies such as HDI, Meg6, and back drilling.
• Design high-speed memory interfaces (DDRx).
• Use schematic software for circuit card designs (capture, layout, simulation, timing).
