Mindscope in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer (Mid-Level) to join our engineering team. This role spans the full product lifecycle—from concept and design through validation and production—to deliver high-reliability power electronics for aerospace, defense, and industrial systems.

You will design and test analog and power circuits, perform simulations, manage EMI/EMC considerations, and support transition to production with documentation and tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong foundation in analog circuit design and power electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC principles and mitigation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and test analog and power electronic circuits (AC-DC and DC-DC).
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout with EMI/thermal focus.
• Conduct circuit simulations and analyze performance under varying electrical and environmental conditions.
• Develop and execute validation and qualification test plans, including worst-case analysis and derating.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues at board and system level; root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
• Support transition from prototype to production with documentation and procedures.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Interface with customers for product deployment.
