Qualifications

• BS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or MS with 5+ years or PhD with 3+ years in Electrical Engineering.
• Power Electronics converter design, modeling, build and test.
• In-depth knowledge of SiC and GaN for power conversion.
• In-depth knowledge of analog circuit design.
• In-depth knowledge of magnetics and design principles.
• Multi-physics simulations: Controls+Electro-Thermo-Mechanical system modeling in power electronics.
• Prognostic and health monitoring in power electronics.
• Self-motivated with initiative; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Product design from high level requirements.
• Design, develop power conversion and control circuits, modeling, simulations, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Detailed circuit design and analysis for reliability and producibility.
• Project planning for applied technology development needs.
• Interface with Engineering peers to implement features from requirements.
• Review and interpretation of internal/external customer requirements.
