Job summary

Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer for on-site work in Hauppauge, NY. The role focuses on designing and evaluating electronic circuitry for high voltage power supplies, performing data analysis, and supporting NPI processes throughout product development.

You will contribute to prototype verification, schematic capture, and PCB layout, while collaborating with manufacturing to finalize designs and documentation.

Qualifications

• BSEE or higher required.
• 5+ years of experience designing switch-mode power supplies.
• Hands-on design verification and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with high voltage power supplies (10kV+) is a plus.
• Deep understanding of basic converter topologies; familiarity with analog/digital electronics.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify and evaluate electronic circuitry for high voltage power supplies.
• Analyze data/specifications to determine feasibility of designs.
• Participate in NPI design reviews and document results.
• Analyze equipment and conduct tests to establish operating data.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and manuals.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to support released products.
