Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Distribution Project Engineer to lead electrical distribution design across multi-discipline teams. You will coordinate design Engineers, participate in client meetings, and serve as the technical lead within project teams.

You will review designs for code compliance, mentor staff, and drive deliverables on schedule with the Project Manager and Controller. Strong communication and PE licensure in power engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Requires PE license recognized by the local licensing board.
• 10+ years of distribution design experience in Power market sector.
• Experience with engineering software for design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of design engineers across multidisciplinary teams.
• Establish client relations and participate in meetings.
• Act as technical lead on project execution teams.
• Review schemes with agencies for code compliance.
• Mentor staff and manage project deliverables and schedules.
