Job summary

HDR seeks a Senior Distribution Project Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary design efforts in the Power market sector. You will coordinate design engineers, lead technical discussions with clients, and participate in project reviews and code compliance activities.

You will mentor staff and drive schematic, design development and contract document work sessions on-site with the Project Manager, contributing to reliable and sustainable power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical).
• 10+ years of distribution design experience.
• PE license recognized by local licensing board.
• Experience with Power Market Sector project execution.
• Proficient with MS Office and power design software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of design engineers within a multidisciplinary project team.
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings.
• Lead technical activities within the project execution team and mentor staff.
• Perform design reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Develop schematic, design development and contract documents on-site with the PM.
