Entergy is seeking a Distribution Designer I–Sr to design distribution facilities for residential and commercial customers in Mountain View, AR. Responsibilities include meeting with customers to determine service needs, designing overhead/underground extensions, estimating costs, and preparing drawings to support reliability improvements.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) is required.
• 1+ year Electric Utility Distribution Design experience OR equivalent.
• 2+ years Electric Utility field operational experience (Transmission/Distribution) OR department approval in lieu of requirements.
• Good knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.

Mansioni

• Manage multiple distribution projects for new residential and commercial customers, including meeting with customers and designing line extensions.
• Coordinate and lead pre-design and pre-construction meetings with stakeholders.
• Perform engineering calculations (load studies, fault current, voltage drop).
• Provide leadership and technical support to operations and ensure compliance with design standards.
