Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, business, or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of construction project-management experience preferred.
• Experience with electrical utilities, substations, data centers, telecommunications facilities, renewable energy, or mission-critical power systems strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical and civil construction practices.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and project schedules.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project-management software.
• Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage power-delivery projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and vendors.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and change requirements.
• Oversee electrical and civil scopes involving utility services, substations, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, battery systems, and underground infrastructure.
• Work closely with customers, utilities, engineers, inspectors, and internal operations teams.
• Monitor project performance and identify schedule, cost, procurement, and constructability risks.
• Prepare proposals, purchase orders, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress billings.
• Ensure long-lead electrical equipment is identified, procured, tracked, and delivered according to schedule.
• Conduct regular jobsite visits and participate in project and safety meetings.
• Ensure work complies with project requirements, applicable codes, safety policies, and quality standards.
• Verify project documentation is complete, including daily reports, testing records, as-built drawings, commissioning documentation, and closeout packages.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with customers and company leadership.
• Support estimating, business development, and project turnover activities as needed.
