Job summary

PPL Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sourcing professional to manage the procurement efforts for the power generation fleet. You will negotiate contracts, work with the Legal Department, and drive cost efficiency and supplier performance across national and international suppliers.

The role requires cradle‑to‑grave procurement ownership, building diverse supplier bases and ensuring accurate ERP records while supporting internal customers and plant outage plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Level I requires 1+ years of sourcing experience.
• Level II requires 3+ years of sourcing experience.
• Senior level requires 5+ years of sourcing experience.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills required.
• High attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing strategies for power generation safety, operations, engineering, construction, and maintenance activities.
• Negotiate and contract with suppliers, including master agreements and NDAs.
• Collaborate with Legal to mitigate risk and manage contracts with national and international counterparties.
• Draft, negotiate, and edit service, material, and equipment contracts and NDAs.
• Own the procurement process cradle‑to‑grave for assigned initiatives.
• Provide input on strategic procurement plans aligned with business and outage plans.
• Identify diverse suppliers and alternate sources of supply.
• Oversee ongoing supplier performance monitoring and ERP processing issues.
• Drive continuous improvement and productivity with suppliers and internal customers.
• All other duties and projects as assigned.
