Global Edge Group in Kentucky seeks two Buyers to drive procurement for a major power project. You will support engineering, project execution, construction, manufacturing and operations, ensuring seamless sourcing and contract execution.

You will manage requisitions through closeout, review specs, issue RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate terms under delegated authority. EPC/EPCM or nuclear experience is a plus, with potential security clearance as the contract progresses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, buying, subcontracts or supply chain within an industrial/project environment.
• Demonstrated experience sourcing and purchasing equipment, materials and/or services using competitive bid processes.
• Working knowledge of purchase orders, commercial terms, supplier negotiations, delivery requirements and procurement documentation.
• Ability to read and work from technical specifications, scopes of work and engineering documentation.
• EPC/EPCM or major capital-project procurement experience, including backgrounds with large engineering/construction contractors.
• Experience supporting nuclear, power, energy, chemicals, mining, advanced manufacturing, defense or other highly controlled industrial environments.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• Security Q Clearance will be required as you progress under the contract.

Responsabilités

• Manage assigned procurement packages from requisition and sourcing through purchase order award, administration, and closeout.
• Review purchase requisitions, technical specifications, scopes of work, drawings, and supporting documentation to confirm commercial requirements and sourcing strategy.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, identify qualified suppliers, coordinate bidder questions and support technical and commercial clarification processes.
• Perform commercial bid evaluations, price analysis and total-cost comparisons; support supplier selection and award recommendations.
• Negotiate price, commercial terms, delivery commitments, warranties, and other purchase order conditions within delegated authority.
