Job summary

Norland Group seeks a Senior Business Performance Analyst to craft weekly and monthly performance metrics, develop dashboards, and streamline reporting for the Materials organization. You will implement custom analytics and guide day-to-day operations with advanced BI capabilities.

The role evolves toward predictive/prescriptive insights, collaborating across teams to drive process change, measurement, and impactful reporting. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant business experience.
• BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science/Information.
• Experience with SAP and PG&E Business Systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Pivots & Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Advanced in Microsoft BI stack including Power Pivot, Power View, Power BI, Power Platform, and Power Automate.
• Strong MS Excel/Access/PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with metrics, dashboards and data visualization using Power BI.
• Experience with data stored across multiple databases/sources.
• MBA or other advanced degrees.
• Lean Six Sigma green belt.
• Advanced reporting knowledge with multiple tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-Starter and strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with utility operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly and monthly metrics reporting.
• Collect data to identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Align improvements to performance gaps and analyze best practices.
• Determine data needs and design reports and tools.
• Handle moderately to highly complex projects with the right methods.
• Create analyses describing the state of the business.
• Create automated data routines for reporting and data delivery.
• Design data analysis to meet business objectives using Power queries and Power BI.
• Apply judgment to solve problems of diverse scope.
• Mentor less experienced staff and end users.
• Travel up to 20%.
