Job summary

Swoon is seeking a Senior Business Performance Analyst in Oakland to support the Materials organization with data analysis, dashboard development, and performance reporting. You will develop weekly and monthly metrics, automate reporting, and transform data into actionable insights to drive day-to-day operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant business, analytics, reporting, or data experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Advanced experience with the Microsoft BI stack, including Power BI, Power Query, Power Platform, Power Automate, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting for the Materials organization.
• Collect and analyze data to identify performance trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop solutions to address performance gaps and support process improvements.
• Determine data requirements and apply analytical techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Design and maintain operational tools, reports, and automated data processes.
• Create complex and automated data routines for reporting and data delivery.
• Use Power Query and Power BI to transform, analyze, and visualize data.
• Communicate data findings clearly to reflect the state of the business.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ongoing measurement.
• Research and evaluate best practices for processes and analytical techniques.
• Support complex projects by identifying appropriate approaches and solutions.
• Travel to other locations within the service territory as required, up to 20%.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
