Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. seeks a Business Performance Analyst to create weekly and monthly performance metrics, dashboards, and streamlined reporting for the Materials organization. The Senior analyst will implement custom data reporting and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.

Hybrid Oakland role with on-site work 4-5 times per month, requires advanced MS BI skills, strong data analysis, and experience in metrics development and visualization.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant business experience.
• BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science/Information.
• Advanced statistical, modeling, and process improvement knowledge.
• Lean Six Sigma green belt.
• Experience with metrics/dashboard creation and data visualization best practices using Power BI.

• Only submit candidates currently residing in bay area/near work location-Oakland.
• Assignment is hybrid and will be required on site per business needs 4-5 times a month at Oakland go and flexible with other locations in the Client service territory.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Client laptop and cell phone will be provided.
• Any additional equipment to be provided by supplier.
• With hm prior approval a pre-determined amount for internet can be expensed monthly.

Position Summary:

The Business Performance Analyst, Senior's primary function will create weekly / monthly performance metrics, dashboards, and streamline reporting of results for the Materials organization. The Business Performance Analyst, Senior will implement and maintain custom data and analytic reporting to provide insight into and facilitate day-to-day operations. He/She will evolve the role to lead clients from simple, pre-existing business intelligence solutions to forward-looking "what's next" capabilities using more advanced predictive and prescriptive tools. The successful candidate will work across functional teams and partner with peers and leaders on process change implementation and ongoing measurement and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the development of weekly and monthly metrics reporting related to organizational performance
• Collects data to identify root cause of problems on performances and implements solutions for improvements
• Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques, processes, and implementation
• Determines data needs, collects data, selects from different analytical techniques to conduct root cause analysis, determine issues designs and maintains operational tools and reports
• Projects are moderately to highly complex and require selecting methods, approaches, and tactics to resolve problems and obtain solutions
• Creates analysis that accurately describes the state of the business
• Creates complex and automated data routines and processes for reporting and data delivery ensuring accurate data transformation
• Design data analysis to achieve business objectives, process data, analyze data, write clear and concise data findings using power queries and power BI reporting
• Applies judgment solve problems of diverse scope
• Typically receives general instructions on new assignments or projects. Receives little instruction on recurring assignments
• May Assist in coaching and developing less experienced staff and end users
• Understands business process needs and develops solutions
• Travel requirement (up to 20%)

Qualifications (Minimum):

• Experience working with data stored across multiple databases/data sources
