Job summary

Arrowhead Intermediaries seeks a Senior Power BI Lead to establish centralized Power BI across the AHI Data Strategy & BI team, serving three divisions and setting enterprise standards for reporting, governance, semantic modeling, and report lifecycle management.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in BI, 5+ years Power BI, strong SQL and governance experience, and a proven ability to lead a BI team across multiple divisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of BI, analytics, data platform, or reporting experience.
• 5+ years advanced Power BI experience and 3+ years senior lead/architecture ownership.
• Insurance industry experience preferred (property/casualty, MGA/MGU, etc.).
• Experience building or maturing BI teams, governance programs, or enterprise analytics models.
• Expert-level Power BI skills: semantic modeling, DAX, dataflows, deployment pipelines, security, and governance.
• Strong SQL, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, data warehouses, and data integration.
• Ability to design complex row-level security across multiple units and hierarchies.
• Excellent communication to translate exec needs into data products and standards.

Responsibilities

• Creates foundation for a new Power BI department within the AHI Data Strategy & BI team.
• Sets enterprise standards for reporting across Arrowhead Programs, Bridge Specialty Group, and Arrowhead Specialty.
• Ensures governed, accessible information via certified datasets, standardized metrics, and lifecycle management.
• Leads complex reporting with diverse data maturity levels and cross-division datasets.
