Job summary

Cardworks is seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. You will work with Power BI, DAX, SQL, data modeling, Azure and AWS to deliver scalable dashboards.

The role requires 8–10 years BI/Data Analytics experience, strong communication, and collaboration with stakeholders. Remote, contract-based, 3 months with extension possible; FTC, rate 70–75 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of BI/Data Analytics experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of Power BI development experience.
• Experience with Agile delivery environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Develop and optimize data models, datasets, and semantic layers.
• Create advanced DAX calculations and KPIs.
• Integrate data from SQL Server, Azure, AWS, APIs, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Optimize report performance, dataset refreshes, and query execution.
• Implement Power BI security, governance, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and data engineers.
