Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to lead design, development, governance, and support of enterprise BI solutions. You will collaborate with DBAs, data engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics and secure data analytics platforms.

Responsibilities include building semantic models, advanced DAX, data marts, and dashboards, while ensuring performance and governance across Azure-based data sources. Strong SQL/ETL background is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience supporting enterprise data warehouse and BI environments.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with SSRS and SSAS.
• Experience deploying, supporting, and administering large-scale BI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise BI solutions using Power BI, SSAS Tabular, SSRS.
• Lead requirements gathering, architecture, design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Govern enterprise semantic models with measures, hierarchies, KPIs, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Develop advanced DAX calculations and optimize data models and SQL queries for performance.
• Create executive dashboards and interactive reports following BI best practices.
