Job summary

The Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. seeks a Power BI Developer III to lead enterprise BI initiatives, shape reporting architecture, and oversee the transition to Microsoft Fabric.

This senior role emphasizes governance, data modeling, and mentoring BI developers to ensure high-quality analytics across the organization. As a subject matter expert, you will partner with Data Engineering and business stakeholders, drive standards, and deliver scalable reporting solutions while supporting DHE's growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Power BI or BI development experience.
• Advanced data modeling with star schemas and semantic layer design.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and BI architecture.
• Experience with Git and ALM in BI environments.
• Microsoft Certified: Associate certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Power BI solutions and governance across multiple functions.
• Own data modeling and semantic layer architecture for production BI apps and reports.
• Drive adoption of Microsoft Fabric within the BI environment.
• Develop advanced DAX/Power Query solutions for complex analytics.
• Establish source control and ALM practices for BI development.
• Mentor junior BI developers and promote best practices.
