Job summary

phData is seeking a Principal Analytics Consultant specializing in Power BI to lead complex analytics engagements and drive measurable value from data. You will blend advanced Power BI expertise with consulting judgment, executive presence, and delivery leadership across strategy, design, development, deployment, governance, and adoption.

You will guide clients from discovery through solution delivery, collaborating with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams while shaping Power BI

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience delivering data analytics, BI, or visualization solutions in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years of external consulting experience with client-facing analytics projects.
• Experience leading complex delivery teams or workstreams and mentoring consultants.
• Experience contributing to delivery planning, staffing, budgets, proposals, or practice development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Power BI engagements including planning, discovery, development, and adoption.
• Define technical approach, architecture, backlog, and quality standards for scalable Power BI solutions.
• Design and develop semantic models, reports, dashboards, and data products.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into analytical requirements and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
• Provide governance, workspace strategy, security, deployment practices, and adoption for Power BI.
• Mentor consultants and deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Develop reusable accelerators, frameworks, templates, and enablement materials.
