Job summary

Southern Company is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst in Atlanta, GA to design and maintain Power BI dashboards, deliver executive and operational reporting, and transform complex infrastructure data into actionable insights. You will partner with ISAC and IDRM teams, build scalable data models, drive data quality, and mentor others while applying AI techniques and governance practices.

This in-office role requires a 3/2 in-office rotation and offers opportunities to impact reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data analysis.
3+ years of advanced Power BI development experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions supporting the Infrastructure Services organization and processes.
Deliver executive-level, operational, asset, risk, and performance reporting.
Build scalable data models and semantic layers that support consistent reporting across multiple stakeholders.
Develop KPI and metric reporting that tells the Infrastructure Services value story.
Transform large, complex data sets into meaningful and actionable insights.
