Ethereum Technologies is seeking a PostgreSQL Database Administrator to own and optimize a high-availability, multi-terabyte PostgreSQL infrastructure across cloud environments (AWS/GCP). You will lead backups, PITR, upgrades, replication, and performance tuning while automating tasks with Shell and Python.

Qualificações

• Requires strong PostgreSQL expertise and architecture knowledge.
• Extensive experience with backup/restore (PITR) and upgrades.
• Demonstrated experience with replication and high availability.
• Hands-on DB operations, monitoring, and performance troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with cloud PostgreSQL deployments (AWS RDS/EC2, GCP).
• Familiarity with HA/DR tools: Repmgr, Pgpool, pgBackRest.
• Kubernetes containerization/orchestration exposure.
• Scripting skills in Shell and Python for automation.
• Experience managing multi-terabyte production databases.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day database operations and monitoring.
• Implement and optimize backup, PITR, and upgrade strategies.
• Maintain HA/DR solutions and perform failover testing.
• Tune performance, analyze locks, long-running queries, and resource usage.
• Collaborate with devs and operations to design scalable PostgreSQL infra.
• Automate repetitive tasks with shell/Python scripts.
