Qualifications

• Solid foundation in relational databases and data architecture.
• Experience or strong exposure to designing, building, and scaling databases.
• Familiarity with SQL and PostgreSQL; cloud database services.
• Comfort using AI assistants and LLM-powered tools as part of workflow.
• Team-focused mindset and proactive learning attitude.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor AWS PostgreSQL databases with best-practice reliability and performance.
• Lead performance optimization to identify bottlenecks and implement advanced tuning.
• Collaborate daily with development teams and other departments.
• Review and approve data-architecture changes, providing structured feedback.
• Diagnose query performance issues and improve database efficiency.
• Participate in release and deployment processes for production workflows.
• Automate manual tasks and improve data delivery and infra growth with AI-driven approaches.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and share knowledge across teams.
