Job summary

System Soft Technologies is seeking a senior database developer to design stable, scalable database solutions aligned with our IT Product Development needs. You will work with developers and BI teams to ensure data is accessible, secure, and well-governed across applications.

You will design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, leverage AWS services (RDS, Redshift, Lambda), and contribute to data pipelines, governance, and automation initiatives while mentoring junior staff and documenting best

Qualifications

• Senior PostgreSQL Database Developer with proven track record.
• Strong SQL writing and performance tuning capabilities.
• Experience with AWS Redshift, Aurora and related services is desirable.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI/automation in database development.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance databases.
• Continuously improve database performance.
• Drive analytics and reporting capabilities with BI teams.
• Accelerate development with AI & automation.
• Ensure data integrity and security (Data Governance).
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and implement best practices.
• Develop technical and training manuals.
• Provide data management support to users.
• Research and suggest new database products and protocols.
