Tiger Data, formerly Timescale, is hiring experienced engineers to build our Cloud database experience and ensure operational excellence on our PostgreSQL platform. You will work with a close-knit, remote-first team, tackling performance and reliability challenges across our Cloud stack and contributing to features that elevate real-time analytics.

We value deep Postgres expertise, Kubernetes-scale deployments, and a willingness to learn our stack (Go, Linux, Apate).

Qualifications

• Extensive experience running dynamic stateful Postgres workloads at scale.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration for Postgres workloads.
• Strong knowledge of Go, Linux, and Apate.
• Contributions to Postgres ecosystem or related tooling.
• Experience building internal systems and tools for Postgres at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Cloud features for Postgres experiences across stack layers.
• Ensure operational excellence, performance, and observability for Postgres/Timescale fleet.
• Investigate and resolve complex performance issues for Cloud customers.
