Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-8 years in plaintiff-side personal injury post-settlement administration.
• Strong working knowledge of medical liens, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, ERISA claims, workers' compensation liens.
• Ability to independently identify discrepancies and escalate attorney review when needed.

Responsibilities

• Review settlement files upon transfer to identify outstanding requirements.
• Identify, verify, audit, and resolve medical bills, liens, and reimbursement claims.
• Obtain and review settlement release forms for accuracy; coordinate execution and return.
• Monitor settlement payment deadlines and ensure timely collection of funds.
• Prepare final settlement and disbursement statements and reconcile proceeds with attorneys and accounting.
• Document post-settlement actions, communications, lien negotiations, payments, and resolutions in the case-management system.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure smooth lien and bill handoffs.
