Job summary

Verizon is seeking a pragmatic, highly efficient enablement professional who thrives in high-velocity execution. This Principal IC role designs, builds, and delivers enablement that keeps customer-impacting teams informed and effective.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Customer Success Enablement, you own end-to-end rollout of new tools and processes across Support, Deployment, Vendors, and CSMs, delivering learnings that minimize disruption to the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience in Enablement, Learning & Development, or Customer Operations roles.
• Hands-on experience building instructional materials (e-learning, job aids, ILT) and facilitating live training for adult learners.
• Deep experience enabling broad customer-impacting teams (e.g., Customer Support, Implementation/Deployment, and Account Management).
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to independently drive complex training rollouts and manage cross-functional handoffs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Initiative Ownership: own the full lifecycle from scoping to cross-functional handoffs and change management for adoption.
• Process & Initiative Rollouts: design training for new internal tools, workflows, or CX initiatives to prepare the field.
• Cross-Functional Readiness & Pushback: collaborate with multiple teams to anticipate changes and ensure readiness before training.
• Hands-On Instructional Design & Delivery: create job aids, maps, and learning modules for seamless knowledge transfer.
• Performance & Adoption Tracking: measure completion, comprehension, and behavioral shifts post-training.
• Continuous Feedback Loop: gather frontline feedback and iterate enablement materials to address gaps.
