Job summary

Verizon is seeking an experienced Enablement professional for a hybrid role in Illinois. You will design, build, and roll out enablement programs across the Global Customer Success ecosystem, ensuring frontline teams are informed and effective.

You’ll own end-to-end enablement initiatives, create practical training materials, and measure adoption to drive real impact for customer success and the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience in Enablement, Learning & Development, or Customer Operations roles.
• Proven hands-on experience building instructional materials (e-learning, job aids, ILT) and facilitating live training for adult learners.
• Deep experience enabling broad, customer-impacting teams (e.g., Customer Support, Implementation/Deployment, and Account Management).
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to independently drive complex training rollouts and manage cross-functional handoffs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Initiative Ownership: Serve as the single point of accountability for assigned enablement programs. Manage full lifecycle from scoping to change adoption.
• Process & Initiative Rollouts: Design training approach for new tools or changes to support workflows.
• Cross-Functional Readiness & Pushback: Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure readiness before training.
• Hands-On Instructional Design & Delivery: Create job aids, maps, and learning modules for knowledge transfer.
• Performance & Adoption Tracking: Measure completion, comprehension, and behavior changes.
• Continuous Feedback Loop: Gather and act on feedback to improve enablement materials.
