Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Product Engineer, Post-Processing to design and direct manufacturing processes that move printed parts from the build plate to finished, inspected products.

You will shape NPI and drive continuous improvement using advanced manufacturing, automation, and lean methods. You will define procedures, fixtures, and quality systems for post-processing steps, support DFAM feedback, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product or manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace, or similar field.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
• Experience with ERP systems in batch manufacturing.
• GD&T and tolerance analysis expertise.
• Experience integrating subtractive and additive processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate designs and provide DFAM feedback.
• Own post-print process development including depowdering and heat treatment.
• Create fixtures and work-holding for deposition and finishing.
• Develop work instructions and maintain quality documentation.
• Support non-conform material disposition.
• Collaborate with quality and product teams to optimize processes.
