Job summary

VulcanForms Inc. in the United States seeks a Production Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for high-volume, precision components in consumer electronics.

You will collaborate with Operations, Product Development, Quality, Automation, Supply Chain and Production teams to deliver top quality, throughput, and efficiency while transitioning new products to production and driving continuous improvement on the floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in production environments.
• Experience improving processes in high-volume or precision manufacturing.
• Strong ability to analyze data and drive improvements.
• Experience with MES and ERP systems.
• Hands-on engineering on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, yield, throughput, and cost.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support to production operations by troubleshooting process and equipment issues.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to transition new products from development into full-rate production.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and root-cause problem-solving.
• Create, maintain, and improve manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, and SOPs.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify process variation, improve capability, and increase production efficiency.
• Collaborate with Automation, Equipment Engineering, and Maintenance to improve uptime and OEE.
• Support process validation, qualification activities, and implementation of engineering changes.
• Ensure processes comply with quality standards, safety requirements, and procedures.
• Participate in production readiness, capacity planning, and scalability initiatives.
