Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is building a cross-platform POS terminal ecosystem with Android native foundations and future Flutter support. You will lead architecture, oversee secure payment processing, and drive hardware integration across devices.

The role demands extensive POS domain experience, leadership, and collaboration with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable payment solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in system design, architecture, and development in the POS terminal domain.
• Strong expertise in Android Native development (Java/Kotlin) for POS terminals.
• Experience with cross-platform mobile development (Flutter) is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of EMV security protocols, encryption, and key management.
• Experience with hardware integration for POS devices.
• Strong understanding of payments architectures and gateways.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of POS terminal solutions with security, scalability, and integration in mind.
• Develop and maintain architectural docs and diagrams for POS systems.
• Make architectural decisions integrating payment technologies and EMV standards.
• Lead development of POS-related applications across platforms.
• Optimize performance and security of payment processing.
• Participate in planning with product and engineering to meet market needs.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for Android Native and embedded development.
• Mentor engineers and drive process improvements.
• Participate in hiring engineers with POS expertise.
• Ensure stability and reliability of POS terminals and applications.
