Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer (POS Terminal) to lead design and architecture of POS terminal solutions. You will drive Android native development, EMV security, and hardware integration while shaping technical direction across mobile and embedded systems.

You will mentor engineers, participate in hiring, and collaborate with product teams to deliver secure, scalable payment solutions across diverse hardware platforms.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in system design, architecture, and development in the POS terminal domain.
• Expertise in Android Native development (Java/Kotlin) for POS terminals.
• Strong knowledge of EMV security, encryption, and key management.
• Experience with hardware integration for POS devices.
• Understanding of payment processors and gateways architectures.
• Familiarity with QA principles in financial systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Leadership in mentoring engineers and driving process improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and architecture of POS terminal solutions for security, scalability, and integration.
• Create and maintain architectural documents and diagrams for POS systems.
• Make architectural decisions on POS software, EMV, and hardware compatibility.
• Lead development of POS-related applications and ensure code quality.
• Improve system performance and security around payments and EMV protocols.
• Collaborate with product/engineering in planning and alignment with goals.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for mobile and embedded systems.
• Provide mentorship and contribute to the broader technical vision.
