Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Construction Manager with extensive Ports & Terminals experience for a Houston project. You will lead planning, direction, organization and budgeting to achieve safety and quality targets on time and within cost constraints.

The role requires strong leadership, constructability oversight, and coordination with client, engineering and procurement teams to deliver effective construction execution. 10+ years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated health and safety management focus in the construction phase of project delivery.
• Minimum 10+ years of construction management experience.
• Ports & Terminals experience is required.
• Strong leadership and team‑oriented skills.
• Effective report writing, planning and organizational abilities.
• Ability to communicate with clients on key issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety planning for project construction execution methods.
• Set up and oversee the constructability process.
• Coordinate with client, project management and services for reporting needs.
• Define construction work packages to support level three scheduling.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement on packages.
• Review estimates, budgets, forecasts and schedules.
• Ensure permits and licenses are identified and obtained.
• Direct, motivate and develop site personnel to meet project goals.
• Plan staff requirements for project execution and staffing levels.
