Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
• 6+ years of portfolio research or systematic investment experience.
• Direct people management experience.
• Experience leading analytical projects end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of markets and investment process.
• Advanced Excel skills and quantitative/statistical foundation.
• Hands-on data and strategy analysis using SQL and Python.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent challenge and validation of portfolio positioning and risk.
• Analyze trade recommendations, exposures, risk metrics, and alignment with thesis.
• Conduct research and produce findings on portfolio behavior and construction.
• Diagnose performance anomalies and drive durable improvements.
• Lead back-testing, scenario analysis, and stress testing practices.
• Enhance investment algorithms and data quality for research-to-production.
• Define platform enhancements for back-testing, simulation, and visualization.
• Escalate and resolve issues impacting execution and data integrity.
• Deliver executive-ready insights and maintain thorough documentation.
• Mentor junior analysts and guide group standards.
