Job summary

Independence Pet Holdings is seeking an Advanced Program Manager to lead high-complexity enterprise programs across Marketing and technology-enabled initiatives. You will partner with senior leaders to drive governance, prioritization, and measurable outcomes while mentoring intake and governance teams.

Based in Chicago with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days on-site), you will own portfolio governance, prepare executive communications, and shape cross-functional delivery plans to improve transparency

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED;Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of relevant program, portfolio, transformation, or enterprise change experience; leadership of complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong experience managing Marketing, digital, customer, partner, product, or technology-enabled initiatives in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; tailored messages for executives and technical teams.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery approaches, including UAT/QAT and change management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate alignment across senior leaders and teams on ownership, decisions, requirements, and prioritization.
• Improve portfolio execution practices: intake, prioritization, governance, and capacity planning.
• Lead complex marketing and technology-enabled initiatives with enterprise impact.
• Provide senior oversight and coaching for Initiative Intake Process and governance.
• Create integrated portfolio roadmaps, dashboards, and escalation paths.
