Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5–8 years of experience in credit analytics, pricing analytics, portfolio analytics, or risk strategy.
• Experience in Fintech, lending, specialty finance, or financial services.
• Knowledge of merchant cash advances, revenue-based financing, or small-business lending.
• Experience with credit scoring models, automated lending decisions, or pricing systems.
• Familiarity with AWS, dbt, and modern AI tools used for financial analysis.
• Strong SQL and Python (pandas) skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing and credit strategies to boost profitability while controlling risk.
• Analyze loan portfolio performance: repayment trends, delinquencies, losses, renewals.
• Build financial models to forecast performance and pricing impact.
• Evaluate the financial effect of pricing changes and strategies.
• Identify opportunities to automate lending decisions and scale growth.
• Collaborate with Pricing, Data Science, and Technology teams on analytics.
• Monitor portfolio composition and identify trends affecting performance.
• Present findings and recommendations to the CEO and leadership.

Our client, a leading and growing Fintech company based in Miami, is seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio & Pricing Analyst to help develop pricing strategies, evaluate credit risk, and improve the profitability of its lending portfolio.

This is a highly visible opportunity working closely with senior leadership, including the CEO. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into practical recommendations that drive profitability, manage risk, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate pricing and credit strategies to improve profitability while managing financial risk.
• Analyze loan portfolio performance, including repayment trends, delinquencies, credit losses, and customer renewals.
• Build financial models to forecast portfolio performance, evaluate pricing changes, and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Measure the financial impact of new pricing and credit strategies to determine their effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to improve lending decisions, automate processes, and support business growth.
• Partner with Pricing, Data Science, and Technology teams to develop and implement analytical solutions.
• Monitor changes in portfolio composition and identify trends that could impact overall performance.
• Present financial analysis, findings, and recommendations to the CEO and executive leadership team.
